“Bonsoir, ma dame.” “Bonsoir, mon seigneur.”
Placed in thrall Lord to Lady What magic can be conjured Increases threefold Joining of power Rival houses Forever at war They see not the advantages of Peace This marriage Joining forever Two families of great power Into one Evermore.
“Bonne nuit, ma dame.” “Bonne nuit, mon seigneur.”

Fanbased poetry from the book Wicked. Not the book the play Wicked is based on, but the one about feuding witch and warlock families.

Stanzas of horrid bloody gore, Painted on canvases evermore, Hang upon the pitch-black walls As ghouls and haunts scream through the halls. I wander moonlit corridors I stand outside the open door; Ghostly fingers beckon me To join in twisted revelry. A window opens; I step out Into the bogs and fens I look around and disappear And I become the devil’s peer.

I say wait Be patient Think things through No one hears They rush forward Take more than they need And leave barren fields behind My advice unheeded They see the destruction And blame me For their ignorance They scream for me to right their wrongs When in the beginning They chose not to Listen.
